Hi, I'm from Illinois, too (Chicago to be exact)
I contacted the YTCA recommended breeders in Illinois -- no puppies for awhile from what they told me a couple weeks ago (before I got Stewie). Barb from Skokie doesn't answer e-mails, so I'd call if I were you.
The YTCA Wisconsin breeders all had puppies available for alll less than $1200 from what I remember. I did some extensive research for months before I got Stewie... and he's sick.
I'd definitely take MMYorkies' advice and get a health guarantee.
