My little Teddy Coco is still in the midst of being litter trained. We use Purina's "SecondNature" kit. We originally used the dog litter in the box (it resembles little pellets of rolled up paper) but Teddy thought it was the best chew toy in the world and we we'd find the little pellets all over the house! Now the litter box sits empty and Teddy will still use it.
One helpful tip - leave a little bit of the pup's urine in the litter box (just a drop). When we put Teddy in the box and smells the urine he goes instantaneously!
