Ewww, where is all that fecal matter coming from?!
I used to be a waitress and I my hubby used to be a bartender. Thinking back I don't think I ever washed the lemons before I cut them which is pretty nasty! I was very young and just didn't think to do it. I'm sure no one else did either or I would have realized I should be washing them.
