That is great info! We feed our Chicken Soup for the Per Lover's Soul which is a "hollistic" food, but when I asked the vet about it (not our regular vet, it was when we took Maya in during the weekend because we are paranoid) she said that she recommends a dog food that is actually approved and tested on a dog as far as "approved by the *** when a dog was on this food for a period of 6 weeks they noticed this, this, this, and this" whereas the hollistic food companies arent large enough to invest in Research and Development and only assume that "this, this, this, and this" will happen because the ingredients are comparable. Sorry if that doesnt make sense, I dont neccesarily agree because I love the ingredients of Chicken Soup, Innova etc. My dogs LOVE the chicken soup, so it "it aint broke dont fix it."
