If I ever get a male, he'll be neutered as soon as I bring him home from the breeder...probably 12-16 weeks...DEFINITELY no later than 16 weeks. I see too many people posting that their 12-16 week old is starting to hump and lift the leg and I'd like to head that off before it begins. There is absolutely no problems with neutering before 6 months. 6 months has just always been the traditional thing to do and some vets are just set in their ways....but most newer vets spay/neuter earlier than 6 months.
