[autumn star]

I have both. We purchased a wire crate 12 yrs ago when we got our first pug. Autumn started using it when we got her but only for when we went out. When we got Blaze I purchased a good size plastic crate (got it on sale for a great price at Target too )for him to use when we went out. But now when I go to put Blaze in there, Autumn will run it there. So I have been putting them in there together and the seem just fine!
I think either way you will be okay, just put some blankets in it.
My wire crate has a metal bottom that can come out to wash it which is nice!
