We continue to walk as much as we do in the summer and deal with the salt issue every day. Here in Nova Scotia it has been a very snowy winter and road salt is everywhere. I've tried the boots and protective spray. Now I just make a point to stick him in the tub and wash his feet in warm water after every walk. The warm water also melts all those little snowballs that stick to his coat. His feet show no damage at all from salt. Can't wait for spring!
