We bought the spray (a different brand) and used it once then threw it out. It basically coated Ziggy's paws with canola oil. After the walk we had to clean his feet because he was getting oil stains on everything. Personally, I think that smearing a layer of vaseline on the pads before a walk would do the same thing.
