Oh you poor thing - you had a double whammy - I completely understand...that's really rough for you and you must miss them terribly...
When Lady went to RB...my son was totally amazed at how hard I took it - it really was the hardest thing I ever had to do - I was on the floor of the vets office sobbing - they literally made me sit and wait before leaving and it did NOT get easier at home for quite a while.
We fall in love and only have them such a short time - 16 years is a good life for your baby - but in the overally realm of things - it's a flash really....I wish we had them longer....
I hope you have very good luck finding a new protector ...it sounds like just the thing to do and there is a doggie out there just waiting for a new mom - Good luck and I'm so sorry for BOTH your losses. |
