Yes this is a big problem this time of year. Poor Buddy goes threw it also.
I try to walk him on the grass most of the time when there is ice and snow to prevent him from walking in the salt. There are times I can't prevent it
and when he whimpers I carry him and brush his feet off. I tried the boots
but he always lost one or two and I had to backtrack to find it! Pain.
I do put vaseoline on his paws at least once a week to prevent them from
drying out and cracking. It really does help. |
