I have both kinds, the plastic one is used to go to my mom's house or my in laws, Jeter likes having a safe place when it gets to crowded. His wire crate is what he sleeps in. It was a good tool using for potty training too because it has a divider that can section off part of the crate. Hes so good with potty training at only 19 weeks of age and a total of only 4 accidents this whole time. Now for the past 2 weeks now he has slept in his pet bed instead of the crate and no accidents in the morning!! (he's a outside to potty puppy too
