I had a hysterectomy last March. I had had 4 c-sections so they did it were my scare was. I went home 3 days after and had no help with my 4 kids. Even though I wasn't suppose to lift or do to much I had no choice. I healed really nicely. I think it was simialr to my c-section pain wise. It was so simialr that if they'd given me a baby to take home it would have been the same. Good luck with your surgery. Just follow doctors orders and you'll be fine.
