If he is 2 years old, where did he potty in his last home? You could certainly try the litter, but I don't have any experience with that, especially with an older guy. We use washable potty pads and love them. (Mine think snow might be fun to play in, but not to potty in!!) Thank goodness for tiny dogs with tiny messes.
