LOL - how true that must be. Have you lived there long? Are they making a "point"?
During a move into a new neighborhood and because of moving trucks, etc., we parked one of the cars slightly on the lawn. The police came to tell us they'd had a complaint and that we couldn't park on the lawn. I said, "geez, we're moving in!". He just smiled and said, "in this neighborhood, they're good people, but they're sending you a message on day one."
