We bought a small PetMate carrier for Frankin. At first he slept in it at night but then we got him a playpen so he sleeps there. Now we only use the crate for travel. If you planning on crate training him, make sure it's only big enough for him to stand up, turn around, and lay down. As a puppy, there probably isn't a crate small enough for that to possible so I would put folded up towels or a box in the back.
Also, if you're going to be gone for more than 4 hours a day, I would invest in a playpen so that your puppy has more room, and access to food and water. |
