I do the basic grooming myself and use a tiny electric razor made for sideburns for the ears and around the bottom. As far as trimming the nails, I usually have a friend hold 'em still and don't take off too much. As I said, there are no real groomers anywhere close to me, so it's been trial and error to learn. You Tube has some grooming videos. Even if I do mess up, the hair grows back quickly and they aren't show dogs.

Yes, the noose looks scary, but doesn't bother the furbabies at all. One side of the table is against a wall so they can't slip off and I'm always on the other side. The cord for the dryer is plugged in at the far end from the pup. So far, it works great for me. If I try to groom them any other way, they just plop down and it's much more work.
