You can also try a bellyband on him too...that might help control the "urge". I never thought about it causing harm..until the one day he started bleeding from his wee-wee....that is when the vet pulled out his wee-wee and he had a huge sore spot on the side of it and we had to keep meds on it for awhile. That is when she told me that if it hanging out...sometimes he will be hard for a long time and that will cause nerve damage amoung other problems!
