From what I have read, you can crate your puppy for two hours at a time, at his age. Your puppy is two months old, he should be able to hold his bladder for 2-3 hours, but not any longer. Puppies should be able to hold their bladder for as many months they are old. My lil guy is four months and he can go four to five hours, but usually he is in his crate for four hours, I come home at lunch, let him out, play, feed, potty again, back in the crate. It's safe for him. and it will teach him FAST to hold his bladder. But your lil one is very young, it will take some time. Dogs will not, will not go to the bathroom where they sleep. won't do it. unless of course, they are sick. Even my guy, who is horrible on potty training, will not go in his crate, unless he is sick!
