Default Found something "foreign" in antibiotic!

Some of you know Scooter has had tonsillitis. I've had him on an antibiotic since last Thursday - twice a day. Today, after I'd shaken it up and pulled up the dose into the syringe I saw something "black and slimy" in the dropper. It came up from the bottom of the bottle when I filled the syringe! GROSS! Not only that, I'VE BEEN GIVING THIS TO HIM TWICE A DAY SINCE THURSDAY!

I called the vet's office and they told me to bring it in so that they could see. I, needless to say, took Scooter too so that they could check him. The girl said "Are you sure you've kept this in the refrigerator"...I'm like, yeah, hello! Anyway, they checked him, said he was OK and gave me a "fresh" bottle. Well, I'm on record that should he get any sicker, there's a problem.

I've always loved my vet, he was very good to Chipper before he passed, but now I just don't know. The place is very clean...no odors or anything. What do you guys think?
