She may act a little different, mine was always more cuddly. She'll want to hump your leg if she isn't already
Once she starts bleeding its usually about 3 - 3.5 weeks until she's done. Make sure to put a diaper on her so she doesn't get blood on your furniture and stuff. They sell pet ones at pet stores or some people get baby ones and cut out a hole for the tail. Other than that just make sure she isn't around any male dogs even for a second. I've heard of dogs jumping fences to get at females when they're in heat so just be careful.
