That is awful!
My grandma does not push her faith on others, my grandpa was in and out of hospitals all of his adult life, and it was my grandma that drove him and was by his side every time. My dad and aunt also saw a doctor regularly, because they did not practice her religion.
I respect her faith and her decisions, but at this point, she is too sick to do the work needed to heal herself. She now has to have faith that her kids (my dad and aunt) who are both nurses by the way- made the right decision to take her to the hospital and seek treatment. She would have died otherwise. The doctors said she would have died within 24 hrs if she had not sought medical treatment. She had a 104 temp. when she went into the ER and was not coherent... her blood count was deathly low.... I thank God that she was found in time, as she lives alone.
