I agree with hha...start by placing ads in your local newspaper. But first, you would need to figure out your advertising and price list...how much you are going to charge for pet-sitting and/or dog walking. Come up with a cute, catchy name and you're off.
There are some here who have their own websites & businesses. Hopefully they can come on and offer some suggestions also.
