Yeah right, cant bite and I have seen it ihappen, my sister has a pommie who lives next door to this VERY sweet lab, guess what? This SWEET lab dug a hole in the yard to get thru the fence and came and attacked her pom he almost died, it was just the yelp she heard and ran out and screaming and pelting stuff at the dog he dropped little max, max spent three weeks in hospital fighting for his little life. Yeah right. Not me, I take No chances at all. My husband gets on with me but oh well. I worry when he is out with my babies
he has this thing that as long as dog sniffs your dog they are friendly. They can sniff and one snap and it is over.
As for outrunning big or small dogs, I just freeze in terror. While in France a huge black dog approached us on the beach with NO owner, he spotted us near the shore and came charging, I started to scream hysterically and grabbed up bandit while he refufsed to hold scooby out of harm's way.. I made such a scene I nearly fell into a puddle of water that was a bit deep trying to head more to the sea to get away from this dog. had somebody on the beach way way to the road not call this animal, i am certain he would have attacked: I was almost in tears because he was not friendly. It happened several times. Next time to France I intend to get more thanh pepper spray
. They let dogs roam freely and they are all HUGE dogs without leashes or owners
. it is a remote part of the French coast and some may even be strays, my heavens, what if one would attack us or our babies? Jump off the rocks and fall to our deaths or let them bite us and possibly kill us?
