No, the hair will look fine. It's the skin that gets all pink (it looks kind of like a sunburn) and that is how it feels too. I've been to places that said the same thing "Oh, we are very careful and these dryers are harmless" .... well, they may be "harmless" if used correctly, but I've seen places that leave the dryer right on the cage so it is blowing directly on the poor little pup for who knows how long. Don't worry, the irritation will go away but you may have to stop brushing her until the pink skin goes away. Just imagine brushing over a sunburned back and you will know why!
