I good guide for water consumption is 1 ounce per pound of body weight a day if they are on dry food. Since she is 6.5 pounds, she should drink around 6.5 ounces (of course all dogs are different). That is just over 3/4 cup. So I would say she is drinking way too much. With the lip licking still going on, I would have her back at the vet.
