my new Pommie has the worst hair I can imagine on a Pommie. His hair is brittle dry like cotton wook and no shine to it, when I comb the hair is literally breaking in the brush. I dont know if it has to do with the poor food the man i bought him from fed him, but he sure didnt get a good start with his coat.
Bandit's coat is lusturous and shiney and silky to the touch, not like a yorkie but still very soft and silky, Bijour is so dry. I have been giving him 1gm of cod liver oil once a week but I wonder what else I cna do to improve this dryness? His nails are also brittle when I cut them
so my assumption is it has to do with what he was fed after weaning
which is obviously not good
. he is currently on a mixed Royal Canin kibble meaning a few of the varieties mixed up which he loves and yoghurt, and raw meat bones. Any ideas ladies and gents
