My daughter was near sighted (she couldn't focus far away...I get the far sighted/near sighted confused)...and strabismus. Her eye strayed inward attempting to focus. If you see something on tv about Anna Nicole's daughter....her left eye turns in. That's how my daughter looked.

My nephew has celebral palsy. He had strabismus also. It's very common in children with celebral palsy. He was given glasses, however, because of his palsy he never wears them. The surgery hadn't corrected his vision enough not to need glasses

Mikey may very well wear his glasses without any problem or perhaps he won't need them at all. I was amazed a 14 month old would leave glasses on her face. I even commented on that to the doctor...who told me...you'll be surprised...it won't take her long to realize she's sees better with them than without them.
