Gracie (who is about 2 1/2 weeks into recovery from bilateral LP surgery) says to tell Lilly to take her meds and eat if mommy feeds her bits of chicken by hand, and milk it for all its worth! Not really, just give her lots of love and TLC and she will be fine. The first 3 days are the worst, the next 5 - 7 days are rough and after that it should be smooth sailing. PM me if I can help.
