AKC registration (or any other pedigree archiving establishment, ie. CKC, UKC etc.)

AKC registration, for example, allows you to compete in almost all (except conformation for limited registration) AKC events such as Agility, Obedience, Rally, Tracking and so on.

Once registered, you get a certificate with your dogs registered name of your choice, and a 3-generation pedigree.
