I'm so sorry that you are going through that. My Ziggy went through a phase where he was nipping at my daughter's ankles and growling at her if she came near; he actually bit her a few times. I told her that she was going to have to stand up to him and be dominant because he didn't respect her-she was letting him get away with everything! Now she speaks very firmly to him when he is naughty and she doesn't give in until he hangs his head and apologizes (licks her hand). Its hilarious listening to her order him "Apologize" but it has worked. This may be helpful for your husband but you'll have to speak for and protect your child.
How old is Rocco? Ziggy's behaviour peaked at 10-11 months.
