I guess it depends on what the problem is with the sick pup.
From what I read, or understand reading the policy, I think it's
pretty good. However, I would guess you have to pay upfront
and be reimbursed after the fact. Something is better than nothing

I just got a quote from VPI but the vet where I took Lex for his check up does not charge too much for some of the things it covers. At least thats what I think. I got a canine price list from the receptionist they don't seem to high for me but then again I don't know how much others charge since I have not had a puppy for so long. I'm thinking of keeping her as Lex's vet and going to see if Lestat (My Russian Blue cat) does well with her as well.
