I have been out of town for a few days and just returned to read the last few days of this thread. I have very mixed emotions, so let me start by saying I dont want to hurt anyone's feelings!! Anyone with strong feelings going on have them because in some way or another this thread appeals to something that may have happened to them......with that being said, here are my thoughts......I am one of the YT members here who helped post those great fliers. I posted and handed out 100 of them. I also emailed Channel 13 and its sister station ch 31 and I am also the one whose friend had 2 Yorkies stolen from her. So this story has been near and dear to me as well. When this story aired, what we all need to be thankful for is just the fact that SOME KIND of awareness is getting out there. I would like to also defend Otis' mommy because Ch 13 emailed me and asked me for all the info I could input as well. I sent them a HUGE email. I was able to log on to YT and post every doggie's name I have seen mentioned and that included lil Zeke and my friends 12 week old female championship pups. Otis' mommy was right...they edited MAJORLY and put what they wanted....not what we conveyed as most important. So I hope that helps mend any hard feelings. Media will do what they want, so lets all try to just find thanks in SOME KIND of awareness getting out. And in the candles we light, lets also pray this opens a door to possibly more news being spread for all our loved ones. As to Zeke's mommy. I saw you were hurt that you put all that work into the flier for nothing in return. Please remember help should be given with no expectations of returned favors.....Because when you have no expectations, you usually reap the biggest rewards. You didnt know this, you have never met me on here, but when I saw your flier and made and posted copies, I was also introduced on here to your story. Without knowing you and before Ch 13 actually aired, I was telling them about lil Zeke too. So, you may not know it, and unfortunately Ch 13 chose not to include it, but Zeke was being addressed in other ways. Please try not to hurt even more over this. You have been through enough. Just try to remember that in the future, if you are as nice as you have been to Otis and help out others....just because you dont physically get a reward in return, trust inside yourself that the rewards are there. Best of luck to all of you mommies hurting like this and I want to keep offering my help in any way I can....even if I have to go stand outside that pet store everyday myself looking for answers to Otis or any other baby that needs my help!! Take care....you are ALL in my prayers...(and sorry I typed so much!!)
