I don't think so. Sometimes you meet a breeder that worries more about placement than the $$. Sometimes they get to know you and want you to have their baby (that sounds funny doesn't it
) and want to give you an affordable price because they like you and they know they will be happy placing their baby there.
Both my girls I didn't pay $1k plus. Their breeder and I were friendly from another chat and are now more family because of the girls.
I think being on YT for a bit you know more and have the tools to see things that will be red flags in a breeder. So go back as though you were buying for the first time from them with your current knowledget that you picked up at YT and see if you would buy from them .
