I would agree to start with very short trips and make sure that she can see out the windows...our girls have never had any problems but the first couple of times we went out they were not so sure about the car and stuff but now the love going "bye bye in the car"...I have also heard that ginger snaps work if you give them one before you take them in the car, I have never tried it but I know people who have and it helps!!
