I don't know how I missed this thread ......That was a horrible looking cut!!!....Thank goodness it was one of those things where it looked worse than what it was!.....I'm so glad for you and Rusty and that he his healing up nicely......It's to bad you couldn't find the source of the cut so you could possible fix or move the item......
