Oh my goodness... I cry buckets and it begins about a week before they are scheduled to leave. I do warn the new families from the beginning that this will happen, but most know this already as they are usually referrals and that little bit of information has been shared. I know in my heart that each puppy is going to the very best home and I have no fears or concerns regarding this, but they have been mine since the moment they were born and it is just so painful to say good-bye. |
