Have you tried mixing the canned with the kibble? That might slow him down some. It would worry me if he is throwing up some every time after he eats.
Sometimes vomiting is a sign of pancreatitis. It is possible the canned food is too rich for him. You might want to get blood work done if it continues or talk to your vet about it.
