here's the update...we realized it was only about 1" of belt. It wasn't a dress belt, where the leather is shiny and around the outside with something else in the middle to stablize it-it was the pressed type of leather, kind of a rustic looking casual belt. It crumbled into bits as she chewed it-so she couldn't have eaten all of it in one piece. There was no metal on the end she was chewing, thank goodness. We're going to keep an eye on her, and see if she passes it-my guess is that she will. This type of leather is pretty much the same thing as rawhide, and before we knew any better, we used to give her that, and she was just fine.

She's acting normal, so I'm going to give her some bran flakes to make her stool softer when she is ready to poo, as well as some yogurt to keep things moving. If anything seems strange, she'll be going to the vet for sure!

I am glad to hear she didnt eat as much as you thought. I will be keeping her in my thoughts today and hopefully she will pass it today
