Belle is eating Canidae at the moment, but her food is almost gone, and am looking for another brand for some variety. In reference to dogfoodanalysis.com, should I stick with a 6 Star or a 5 Star Dog Kibble? I know that the 6 Star has the highest amount of protein. But, I've read that too much protein can affect their liver and kidney, while others have rejected that idea. Especially since this is dry, cooked protein.
If I go with a 6 star food, I'm going to go with Orijen and if I go with a 5 star food, I'm going to go with Wellness. Belle has no allergies and such...she's very healthy
So, 6 star or 5 star? | well the food it 6 star for a reason.. it is the best... and think abotu the amount of protein Ariel is getting.. that's ALL she is getting (which in my opinion is great) so i'd go with the 6 star and definitly with the Orijen. it is a superb food... protien is only an issue if you have a liver compromised pup. Layla also turned her nose to the NV... i was kinda disappointed
