Ariel is currently on NV Raw, and is doing wonderfully on it. Less scratching, smaller & less frequent poops, etc. I tried giving Belle one raw medallion a couple days ago ... she sniffed it, and walked away
I was so surprised at her reaction, considering Ariel can't sit still when I'm preparing her food.
Belle is eating Canidae at the moment, but her food is almost gone, and am looking for another brand for some variety. In reference to dogfoodanalysis.com, should I stick with a 6 Star or a 5 Star Dog Kibble? I know that the 6 Star has the highest amount of protein. But, I've read that too much protein can affect their liver and kidney, while others have rejected that idea. Especially since this is dry, cooked protein.
If I go with a 6 star food, I'm going to go with Orijen and if I go with a 5 star food, I'm going to go with Wellness. Belle has no allergies and such...she's very healthy
So, 6 star or 5 star?
