My friend crates her 4 month old puppy while she works. She left his collar on and it got caught on the latch. Poor puppy was cold when she arrived home.
She didn't even realize the danger of the collar. Maybe by sharing this story it could give someone a needed heads up.

OMG how sad. I leave the collar on Bijou in the crate but his is a harness collar I wonder if this can happen also? How dreadful she must be traumatized by this
