Patti called a while ago. She is hurting so bad in her back and it is hard for her to sit at the computer, so she asked me to update everyone on her sister's grandson.

I don't know if many saw her request, since it was done on a previous thread, so here's what Patti said in another thread:

Thank each of you for your posts, and your prayers mean so much to us.

I am having lots of pain with my lower, upper back and not able to sit long. It was four this morning or after before I finally was able to get to sleep. It is most difficult sitting so I can't be here long.

I do have another request for prayer, my sister called, her grandson got frost bite on his big toes skiing today. Please pray that all goes well and that no amputations will be neccessary. He will be flying home tonight. His name is Andrew. If I'm not able to get on YT, I shall ask Connie to give you update about Andrew. I just called my sister and told her how YT'ers prayers are mighty, she asked me to please thank you all.

I feel so bad for Andrew. He was skiing all day Friday and when he took off his boots, his toes were black. He went to the hospital and they told him he may need them amputated and to come back Monday. Have you ever heard anything so crazy? I told Patti it's important to start immediate treatment on frostbite to try to save as much tissue as possible and keep it clean from infection. Patti said he'll be flying home to St. Louis (He's a college student in Colorado) and will likely have to have his big toes amputated. He couldn't get a flight out Saturday, so hopefully he is there by now and in good hands.

Please, everyone, say a prayer for Andrew and that his toes can be healed. Also remember Patti and Jack in your prayers. Poor Patti ended up with so much pain from that accident they were in.
