Hey tinyt and everyone--

My pup is doing a lot better! I think that maybe dogs just need to get re-acquainted with their bladders after surgery. I feel like maybe she didnt notice the urge to go like she used to. I've gotten surgery before, and I know that it makes a lot of changes with your body, and always takes some time to re-adjust.

My advice would be to give it some time. While it MAY be a bladder infection, I would wait it out a couple of days before rushing her back to the vet. I stayed on top of my pup through the week and weekend and she just got back into her regular habits again. Make sure you are taking her out about every 4 hours, since her bladder is probably more sensitive after being handled during surgery...hopefully that will give her more opportunities to go outside and NOT in the house.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!
