As far as your little boy, try adding a little karo syrup to his water to entice him to drink. Your family might have to use a dropper or surringe to get fluids in him. If they sell Nutri-cal or something similar to it, you might want to have some of that on hand in case he won't eat.
One of your family members that you think Tino will trust the most should sit next to you while you are holding Tino so they can get well acquainted. Try to get them to hand feed him while he is in your lap so he will know it is okay. You also might want to leave an article of clothing you've worn like a t-shirt or something that your family member can lay in their lap for Tino to lay on. It might make him feel more secure.
