At least it's a lead. Hopefully there's a good reason why it's not a registured chip. I know someone that had their dog microchiped and thought that the vet did the registuring. It wasn't until I pointed out that they were sopose to send the paper in their self, that they knew to do anything more than take him to the vet and have the procedure done. I'm not sure if the vet wasn't clear enough or if the hubby didn't understand the instructions
