Hey guys in Texas, do you know of anyone that has just got their driving permit? Anything we should expect?

My niece turned 15 in December and is dying to get her permit.

Any clues on the test? When I was in school there were 3 or 4 test that they choose from.

She has the book and has been studying it. She already drives with me. Ive been letting her drive since she was 13 around town (its small). Now we want to be legal since she is turning 16 soon!

Also, on txdot it says a grandparent or parent has to teach drivers ed. Now that really sucks because I am her Aunt... why am I not considered a viable candidate to teach such thing?? That makes no sense to me!
