Yeah I think with poop, it's kind of a prevent it before it happens type of thing. Franklin goes pees on his potty pad 99% of the time but only poops on it about 50% of the time. I think the key is to watch her like a hawk when she's out and about. We confine Franklin to the living room so that someone can watch him at all times. Any time there's a sniff-and-circle, we put him on his potty pad. I guess in your case, you'd take her outside. While you're watching her like crazy, try to get a feel for when she'll have to go. Feeding her on a schedule probably helps. Franklin is free-fed and he only poops about twice a day. Once you can sort of tell when she has to go, scoop her up and take her outside. Then, treat and praise like a crazy person. |
