And then my sister...she has always wanted a Yorkie since I got mine...well now she says that she doesn't want one because the "costs" that come along with them are too expensive. Well you know what, WHATEVER.
I have told her I don't know HOW many times that LP is NOT just in Yorkies!! It is in all small breeds...so she better just go ahead and cross out the Chihuahua breed that she likes as well.
WHY are people so clueless????? Do they not know that ALL breeds have their problems? They aren't just perfect little stuffed animals that you can throw clothes on to look cute. They are REAL...and they have problems and yes those problems can get expensive, but you have just have to DEAL WITH THEM. If you don't want to face the responsibility of owning a pet...then it's very simple...don't own one!
Ahhh yes...and of course she thinks I'm nuts for WANTING to pay more to have her surgery done with an ortho specialist instead of just taking her to my regular vet and being done with it. OMG! She is just CLUELESS.
