Tonight I was talking to my mom about Tatum's LP and she said that my sister told the people at her work about her needing surgery, and how much it was going to cost and they said, "Omg, I would just put it to sleep"
I just cried when my mom told me this. That REALLY hurt. I don't even know the people that said this, and they don't know me, OR Tatum...they have no idea how old she is or even what kind of dog she is, and they have never seen her...they just automatically said that because of how expensive the surgery is going to be.
HOW....just tell me
HOW people can be SO cruel? I just do not understand it one single bit
I was so hurt and angry when I heard this, I was crying and I told my mom that I hope to GOD that these people don't own any animals....because if they do they sure as hell don't deserve them.
You know what it felt like? It felt like someone was telling me to put my CHILD to sleep just because she needs a surgery on her knee. What she has isn't LIFE THREATENING...she has a messed up KNEE for pete's sake...why on God's green earth would I put her to sleep!!!!

You know, I would take out a LOAN for my BABIES if I had to....that's right...
MY BABIES...because that's what they are to me. They aren't just "DOGS" damnit...and frankly I am sick and tired of people out there who think it is so stupid to spend money on them when they need medical care. If you aren't willing to help them when they need it, they you don't need THEM to begin with!!!!
It really hurts to know that there are ACTUALLY people out there who would just kill their dogs because they are too darn selfish to spend money on them and get them the help they need. That is why there are so many homeless and neglected animals in this world to begin with and it is just SICK!!!
The ONLY reason, and I repeat the
ONLY reason I would EVER put any of my babies to sleep is if they were SUFFERING and IN PAIN and they COULD NOT be helped. Otherwise, I would sell my house if I had to...to get them the help they needed.
You know, I am really glad that I was not in that stupid room whenever these people said this...because I probably would have slapped someone. I know that it is just their opinion (all be it a SAD one), but sometimes I think people just need to keep their mouths SHUT. People out there have to realize that there ARE people alive in this world who consider their "DOGS" their "BABIES"....and they will go to whatever lengths necessary to help them no matter what the cost.
I am still just so angry and upset about this...there is not one single spec in my body that will ever understand people like this. I wish someone could explain their thinking to me... I don't even know if it CAN be explained
