How old is Prince and what does he weigh?
If he is a 12 week old tiny, I might indulge him a bit..but if he is passed 4 months and average size..no.
Pick a quality dry food...cook a whole chicken and pick the meat off..put portions in small containers or bags and freeze. Use a couple teaspoons of ground up chicken, a few drops of water and mix it well with the dry..put it down and forget about it..he will eat within 3 days, ususally the end of the second day. Do not appear worry or concerned, do not look in the direction of the dish, do not encourage him to eat..he will eat. I have never had a Yorkie not eat and they are so small they need such a small amount of food to keep them healthy. After a week or so I would cut back on the chicken to every other day until he is weaned away from table food 100%.
Is he neutered?
Your attitude towards him eating is key..eat or not, it is his choice and he will get the idea...but since he is a Yorkie, he will find another way to control you..and when you solve the next problem, he still has a big bag of tricks to try...that is why I love Yorkies so much.
